How a corkboard is kept on this iPhone

Mved is a local pin wall. You hang photographs and stickers on a corkboard, write a short title or note on the reverse of a pin, and join related pins with red thread. You can use every corkboard feature without an account. Boards live on this iPhone. Mved does not keep a remote directory of people who use the pin wall.

This notice explains what the app stores, which system permissions it may request, and where a few limited network requests can occur. It describes Mved as it works today, not a hypothetical cloud product.

Pictures that become pins

When you choose a photograph from the library or take a still picture with the camera, Mved copies that image into its own storage on the device so the pin can stay on the board after you leave the picker. The copy is used to draw the polaroid on the cork, the smaller thumbnail, and the detail view you open by double-tapping a pin.

Mved does not browse your entire library in the background. Library access is requested when you tap Photos (or choose a board cover). You may allow access to all photos, allow a limited selection, or refuse. If you refuse, the pin wall still opens; you simply cannot import a library picture until access is granted.

Camera capture is requested only when you tap Camera. Still pins do not require a voice recording. The microphone permission exists because the system camera session may include audio hardware. If you refuse the microphone, you can still take a still photograph for the board.

Words, tags, and the shape of a board

A board can hold a title, a short description, and an optional cover image. Each pin can hold a title, a note, a handful of short tags, a rotation, and a position on the cork. Red thread is stored as a pair of pin identifiers. Recent tag words and a simple motion setting (whether string animation plays) are stored with the board.

Those items are content you supply. Mved keeps them so the wall looks the same the next time you open that board. Clearing a corkboard from the tool wall removes the pins and the copied photographs associated with that board on this iPhone.

Permissions the pin kit may present

iOS shows its own sheets. Mved does not add a second explanation dialog in front of those sheets.

• Photos, when you import a picture or a cover, so a copy can be pinned.
• Camera, when you photograph something in front of you to pin it.
• Microphone, while the camera is opening, because the capture session may involve audio hardware.
• Tracking, once, near first launch, so Mved can honor Apple's App Tracking Transparency choice.

Refusing a permission does not lock you out of the rest of the pin wall. Stickers, existing boards, and red thread remain available. Mved may show a short in-app reminder that a pin from the library or camera cannot proceed without the matching permission. It does not send you into system Settings as part of that reminder.

The tracking question at first open

On first launch, Mved may display Apple's tracking prompt. Pins, photographs, and boards remain on the iPhone whether you allow tracking or ask the app not to track. If you allow tracking, Mved may use App Store measurement information to understand whether people find the corkboard from Apple's services. If you ask the app not to track, the pin wall continues to work. Mved records locally that the prompt was presented so it is not repeated on every open.

Pages opened from About

The tool wall includes an About path that can load a web page inside the app. Loading that page requires a network request to the address configured for the notice. Mved does not use that path to upload your boards. Standard web delivery (the page itself, and whatever logs the host already keeps) is outside the corkboard files on your iPhone.

Mved does not operate its own advertising network, analytics dashboard, or social graph. It does not sell pin-wall content. Device vendors, the App Store, and the operating system may process install and permission events under their own rules.

Where files sit, and for how long

Board files, copied photographs, thumbnails, and cover images are stored in the app's sandbox on this iPhone using relative names, not a path copied from another computer. Mved rebuilds full file locations when it runs, because iOS may relocate the sandbox. A record that the sample board was installed, and the tracking-prompt flag, may be kept in on-device preferences.

Mved does not publish a remote backup of your wall. If you delete the app, iOS deletes the sandbox, including copied photographs and board files. Content remains until you clear a board, delete a board, or remove the app, unless the operating system reclaims storage under its own policies. You should not treat the pin wall as the only copy of a photograph that matters to you.

Choices already on the device

You decide whether to grant Photos, Camera, Microphone, or tracking. You decide which picture becomes a pin. You can leave titles and notes blank. You can delete a board or clear pins. Operating-system controls for tracking and privacy remain available in iOS; this notice does not replace them.

Because Mved does not host a remote identity for you, there is nothing to retrieve from a server operated by the app. What you can remove is what sits in the app on this iPhone.

If a child uses the pin wall

Mved is a general-purpose corkboard. It is not directed at children and does not ask for a name, school, or household. A parent or guardian who lets a minor pin photographs should treat those pictures as they would any other images stored in apps on the device. Care we take, without impossible promises

Copied photographs and board files stay inside the app sandbox. That isolation depends on iOS as well as on Mved. No mobile app can honestly promise that a device will never be lost, that a backup tool will never copy a sandbox, or that a defect will never appear. Mved aims to request only the permissions needed to pin and to keep board data on the device unless you open a web page from About.
